Gogodoc should NOT be used in possible medical emergencies or situations that may require urgent medical attention. If you think that your situation, or someone else’s, is or might become an emergency, you should IMMEDIATELY STOP using Gogodoc and call 999 or 111.

Examples are:

Severe chest pain, Difficulty breathing, Active or severe bleeding, Loss of consciousness, Slurred speech, Facial Drooping, Inability to move an arm or leg, Acute confused state, Fits/seizures, Major trauma, A rash that doesn’t disappear under a glass tumbler being pressed against it, Possible stroke or heart attack, Swallowing a foreign object such as a battery, Sudden loss of vision or hearing.

Please note, a set time is not guaranteed for your home visit. The booking will be arranged according to the doctors availability!

You Must Ensure You Bring The Following Documents With You:

ID such as Valid Driving License or Passport

TPH/204 Form

FULL Medical Record Notes (Summary print outs will not be accepted) Your notes can be requested from your NHS GP

Eye test need to be consult with an optician

Any medications you curently take and doses as well

If you are unable to provide these then this will be documented in the declaration section of the form.

What to expect at your Taxi PCO Medical Consultation

Upon arrival for your PCO/Taxi medical, you will be asked to take a short questionnaire about your medical history. You will also be asked to provide your driving licence.

One of our doctors will carry out full medical assessment. They will also ask you some questions about your medical history and any current medical conditions.

If you have any medical conditions, the doctor will need to assess how these could affect your driving. For instance, if you have diabetes, the doctor will need to check that your blood sugar levels are well controlled.

Please note you will need to have the following:

Medical conditions which could affect your application: Insulin treated diabetes, Epilepsy, Poor Vision, History of severe mental health problems (including drug or alcohol abuse),

Heart problems, Neurological or neurosurgical disorders (strokes, blackouts, head injuries), Certain prescribed medication.

Please also note there is no definitive yes or no whether your application will be accepted as each case is dealt with on an individual basis by TFL.
