Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy, which literally means ‘cold therapy’, is a non-surgical treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to remove skin lesions such as skin tags and moles by freezing the skin cells until they fall off.

The treatment usually lasts 5-10 seconds where liquid nitrogen is applied to the target area. Here at gogodoc our highly skilled and trained GMC registered GP’s can assess and treat on the same day as your consultation. The duration and number of treatment cycles depend on the skin type and the nature of the problem.

Depending on the response of the tissue treated, follow up sessions may be required.
